During its two-decade-long existence, SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) has been widely utilized on desktops. But, since the 2010s, when the m-learning trend emerged, the debate of if you can use SCORM in mobile learning as successfully has persisted. Is it possible to see SCORM materials on mobile phones and tablets? Will you be able to monitor your learning records and documents if employees receive training on these devices? Is it possible to save data for training even though the system is turned off? We believe it is past time to address all of these issues effectively. So, let’s get started!

SCORM in mobile learning: Its modus operandi

Let’s initially examine how processes function sans SCORM. Suppose you’re utilizing a smartphone to deliver training information via your firm’s server. The device’s web browser retrieves and shows material from the server. For instance, things function similarly each time you visit your favorite blog.

However, simply displaying materials in corporate training is insufficient. We must maintain track of learner performance statistics, such as how long it takes them to finish the course, their exam answers, and their course grades. Although the HTML text for your training program does not execute such actions by nature, all of that data sets must be gathered and transmitted back to the webserver.

Rapt Media says more than $500 billion is lost every year due to employee disengagement. Disengaged employees don’t work as hard as those who are committed to your company.  They only do the bare minimum.  Engaging and investing with employees through training helps increase their engagement and lowers the potential risks for losing money.

5 QUICK TIPS FOR MORE SUCCESSFUL BRAND TRAINING

A brand is more than just a logo and a color palette. It encompasses company values, purpose, and culture. But if employees don’t have the skills to express these values, then your customers certainly won’t get it either. Most often, this boils down to one simple problem: your employees don’t have the vocabulary or the context of the big picture. Moreover, front-line employees struggle to see past their individual roles. Luckily, with the right training strategy, you can engage employees and shape them into internal brand ambassadors.

Scenario-Based Learning: What It Is, and Why It Works

Knowledge leaders commonly abide by the 70-20-10 rule. That is, experiential knowledge comprises 70% of what employees absorb, followed by 20% from interactions with others. That leaves formal education as the source of just 10% of what employees know or retain.

By incorporating real-life experiences into on-the-job learning, companies leverage those percentages as employees practise their newfound skills with allowances for errors and do-overs. Scenario-based learning takes employee education from one-dimensional learning to 3D, rendering the employee handbook so last century.

Conflict Management Training Tips

Conflict is often feared and sometimes avoided because many people do not know how to manage the conflict to generate positive results. Prevent conflict from becoming a crisis by learning to understand your own reactions to conflict, how to communicate through conflict, and minimize conflict situations.

The Four Pillars of An Effective Product Training Program

Product training is an important part of an organization’s success. Without value-adding product training, a marketing team cannot reach the right market, and a sales teams will fail to answer the critical questions customers are looking for. Poor product training can cause a great deal of loss to a company, so it is necessary to take a look over the program already in place to ensure that employees are receiving effective product training.
